Staff Training

Ongoing mandatory trainings and workshops will be offered for program staff and partners regarding the opioid epidemic and modalities to address the crisis, and data collection. Program staff and partners will participate in a series of trainings and workshops to ensure they fully understand the laws and their implementing regulations for data collection, usage, sharing, and disposal as defined in compliance with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) 3 and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 19962 (HIPAA)4.
